Job summary

BCD Travel is seeking a Senior Solutions Security Architect to guide secure technology design across the organisation. You will act as a trusted security advisor, embedding security into architecture, transformation programmes, and technology delivery.

You will collaborate with business, engineering, cloud, infrastructure, and product teams to identify risks, apply secure-by-design principles, and improve security postures through threat modelling and architectural reviews.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in cyber security, CS, IT or engineering
• Extensive information/cyber security and security architecture experience
• Strong enterprise security architecture knowledge and risk management
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, GIAC, CISM, CISA, SABSA, TOGAF, OSCP, CREST) desirable
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container platforms (Kubernetes/OpenShift)

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure architecture patterns aligned with business goals
• Evaluate methods to improve security and reduce risks
• Define security requirements and controls for architectures
• Identify and communicate threats and vulnerabilities
• Assess risks in context with business operations
• Conduct threat modelling and security design reviews
• Create and maintain security documentation
• Collaborate with teams to support secure delivery and DevSecOps
