Job summary

Unit4 is seeking an experienced Security Architect to partner across the enterprise and shape our secure landscape. You will lead security architecture across cloud, identity, SaaS, and endpoints, guiding teams and setting reference architectures with a focus on defence-in-depth.

This hands-on role requires strategic and tactical expertise, collaboration with CISO, CloudOps, Product, and Engineering, and the ability to translate strategy into secure, scalable designs for complex environments.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maturing enterprise security architecture across cloud, identity, SaaS, and endpoints.
• Ability to translate business strategy and risk into secure, scalable designs.
• Strong collaboration with security, product, engineering, and cloud operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the security target state architecture and multi-year roadmap; socialize tradeoffs with leadership.
• Lead enterprise architecture assessments across environments: Azure security, Kubernetes, IAM, CI/CD, and AI/LLM.
• Partner with Cloud Ops and Product Architecture to embed security in platforms and roadmaps.
• Develop security reference architectures and patterns aligned to Unit4’s security vision.
• Design layered enterprise security architectures ensuring defence-in-depth and resilience.
• Act as architectural authority, guiding decisions and ensuring regulatory and audit requirements are met.
• Collaborate with Product/Engineering, Enterprise Architecture and CloudOps to embed controls and align with security strategy.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to shape cyber direction and ensure architectural consistency across teams.
