Job summary

Nordea is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead technical direction for the Standardised Corporate Loans hub in Poland. The role combines hands-on development with high-level architectural strategy in a regulated enterprise environment.

You will mentor teams, shape the architecture, and drive modern patterns like microservices, event-driven design, and BPM-based workflows across cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience, including leading or guiding development teams.
• Strong hands-on experience with software architecture and system design.
• Proven experience designing distributed systems and service-based architectures.
• Experience with BPM platforms and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define the architecture runway for the Standardised Corporate Loans Hub and lead the design of complex, business-critical software solutions.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, robust technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on architecture decisions, design principles, and best practices.
• Drive adoption of modern architectural approaches, including microservices, monolith, and event-driven architectures.
• Conduct architecture and design reviews, identify technical risks early, and actively drive mitigation actions.
