Job summary

Nordea is seeking a Pega Lead System Architect to lead the technical design and implementation of Pega-based solutions within Corporate Loans, spanning origination, servicing and lifecycle management. The role emphasizes architectural ownership, governance and collaboration with Product Owners, Business Architects, and senior engineers.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of IT work experience.
• Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA).
• Experience delivering enterprise-grade Pega solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Pega architecture, integration patterns and performance considerations.
• Fluent English; regular employment contract (not B2B).
• Experience in international, multi-stakeholder environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the system design and development of Pega-based solutions supporting corporate lending.
• Own technical direction and architectural decisions with governance.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and compliance with enterprise standards.
• Design and govern integration patterns with internal and external systems.
• Drive best practices in architecture, quality, and delivery following Nordea target architectures.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other System Architects and development teams.
• Act as the main escalation point for complex technical challenges.
• Contribute to an inclusive team culture based on trust and shared ownership.
