Job summary

Nordea Bank Norge ASA is seeking an experienced Chief IT Developer to lead the Standardized Corporate Loans hub, combining hands-on development with architectural leadership. You will shape the architecture runway, translate requirements into scalable solutions, and guide teams through design decisions and best practices in a regulated enterprise setting.

The role requires strong experience in distributed systems, cloud platforms, and BPM/workflow engines, with a track record of delivering

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
10+ years of experience in software development, including experience leading or guiding development teams
Strong hands-on experience with software architecture and system design
Proven experience designing distributed systems and service-based architectures
Experience with workflow engines or BPM platforms and cloud platforms

Responsibilities

Define the architecture runway for the Standardised Corporate Loans Hub and lead the design of complex, business-critical software solutions
Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, robust, and compliant technical solutions
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on architecture decisions, design principles, and best practices
Drive adoption of modern architectural approaches, including microservices, monolith, and event-driven architectures
Conduct architecture and design reviews, identify technical risks early, and actively drive mitigation actions
