Job summary

Nordea Bank Abp, Poland branch, is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to strengthen architecture capability in International Corporate Branches Technology (ICBT). The role focuses on secure, resilient, future-proof solutions across central banking platforms, payments and integration landscapes. This is a full-time position.

You will lead architectural design, collaborate with product owners and engineers across locations, and ensure governance and clear documentation of architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Solution Architect in banking or large enterprise.
• Strong understanding of enterprise and application architecture, integration patterns, APIs, data flows, and non-functional requirements.
• Experience leading architectural analysis and decision-making across legacy and modern tech.
• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly to business and tech stakeholders.
• Proven ownership, collaboration and documentation skills across organizational boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Define target and transition architectures for central ICB solutions across payments, core banking and integration domains.
• Translate business needs and technology strategy into architectural options and recommendations.
• Lead solution design across legacy and modern landscapes, including platform assessments and modernization.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, architects, analysts, developers and operations across locations.
• Support delivery governance by preparing architecture artefacts such as high-level designs and implementation roadmaps.
