Senior Solution Architect
Fully Remote
We are looking for a highly motivated individual for the position of a Solution Architect to join the Legal Operations team.
Tasks waiting for you:
- Analyzing, evaluating, and integrating SaaS solutions to ensure adherence to enterprise standards and practices while aligning with business priorities and the wider Roche IT ecosystem
- Lead and control cross-solution architecture design questions with developers, vendors, internal and external partners and design authorities.
- Architecture review of currently existing solutions to ensure continuous improvement and technical debt management
- Research, evaluation, proof of concepts and adoption of new solutions
- Designing non-functional requirements, screen vendor capabilities, and evaluate solution integration capabilities
- Translating Business requirements into technical architecture. Creates and owns the Solution Architecture documentation
- Seeking opportunities to create additional value and improve business processes
- Partner with Product Managers and the Enterprise Architect to establish high-level solution intent to showcase product value for stakeholders
You will be successful in this role if:
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or a related field, or possess equivalent experience.
- You have deep expertise and business knowledge in the Legal & Compliance domain, as well as familiarity with pharma and diagnostics processes involving Process and Building Automation, Visual Inspection, Intralogistics with mobile robotics, Modular Manufacturing, and Fleet Management.
- You bring 7–10 years of relevant IT experience in designing and implementing technology solutions, particularly in Legal Operations (Matter Management, Document Management, Legal Spend Management, Contract Management) or Manufacturing Digitalization contexts.
- You have a strong track record across the full ICs lifecycle, with a focus on standardization, modularity, and innovation.
- You are motivated to challenge the status quo and drive innovation in complex technical environments.
- You are business-driven and skilled at streamlining the complexity of multiple ICs and IT systems operating simultaneously.
- You have an excellent understanding of the technological landscape in Manufacturing Technologies and emerging digital solutions.
- You are capable of translating business requirements into architectural requirements, ensuring alignment with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- You have the ability to interpret Process Flow Diagrams and P&IDs and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams (including Process Engineering, Quality & Compliance, CSV, and Project Management).
- You are proficient in creating and understanding Data Flow and Architecture Diagrams, ensuring full compliance with company policies, guidelines, and security standards.
- You are experienced in developing architectural documentation (e.g., UML diagrams) and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
- You are experienced in SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP Cloud) and public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), with a strong understanding of middleware, ESB/EAI integrations, and DevOps.
- You demonstrate expertise in multiple technology domains including Cloud, Automation, Data, and AI, and act as a technical authority in automation and process control.
- You are capable of providing technical mentorship and guidance to project engineers and technicians.
- You have proven experience in digitalization of manufacturing processes, enterprise architectures, and ICs technologies.
- You can quickly understand new technologies, their capabilities, and apply them strategically to meet business goals.
- You are able to develop and communicate a clear technology vision, balancing long-term strategy with short-term execution needs.
- You possess excellent communication skills—both oral and written—with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
- You have experience working in multicultural, international environments, collaborating across functional and technical teams.
- You are motivated to reflect product vision into OT and IT architecture deliverables, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and contributing to continuous innovation.
