Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Software Engineer in Test to join the Fleet Operations Team. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for fleet management services and related APIs.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or Systems Engineering, with >4 years in software development.
• Strong production-quality coding practices and reliability.
• Proficient in Python for backend automation.
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Familiar with pytest; UI testing with Cypress is a plus.
• Knowledge of CI tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for APIs, VM tools, and CLI utilities using Pytest and Python.
• Build and scale CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins for continuous testing of infrastructure components.
• Automate functional, integration, regression, and performance tests for VM lifecycle automation and KVM stacks.
• Collaborate with development and operations to identify, reproduce, and fix defects early in deployments.
• Basic working knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Know CI tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab.
