Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a QA automation engineer to develop automated tests for an integrated embedded device, mobile app, and web services stack. The role emphasizes security and a strong automation framework, with opportunities to work across backend and UI tests, and to align with US-based clients.

The candidate will utilize Python for automation, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and may engage in manual testing when required, within a structured, process-driven project environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA engineering, writing automation scripts, and applying a framework approach to automation (python).
• Expertise in automation tools and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with BDD test automation tools is a plus and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Programming automatic tests based on existing manual tests.
• Updating existing manual test scenarios to create automated tests.
• Review of automation test code and test scenarios.
• Execution and reporting of automated test results.
• Identifying, reporting, and retesting bugs.
• Flexibility to perform manual testing when needed.
