Job summary

Inetum Polska in Katowice is seeking an experienced Automation Tester to design and implement automated tests for backend and API services. You will verify business logic in payment-related systems, collaborate with developers, and contribute to CI/CD.

You must have 5+ years in automated testing, strong Java, Selenium/JUnit, REST API testing, and experience with Allure, Git, and Azure DevOps. Hybrid work requires 2 days in the office weekly.

Qualifications

The project is carried out in the Cards area, encompassing critical systems for the bank's operations responsible for handling debit and credit cards, calculating commissions and fees, subscriptions. The initiative is related to the modernization of existing solutions, migration of components to the GCP cloud environment, and integration of new group systems that take over part of the business logic concerning commissions and fees.

Main Tasks

• Designing and developing automated tests for backend applications.
• Verifying business logic related to the calculation of commissions, fees, and subscriptions.
• Creating and maintaining automated test scenarios for card processes.
• Testing integrations between internal and group systems.
• Analyzing errors and collaborating with development teams to resolve them.
• Participating in CI/CD processes and maintaining the central repository of automated tests.
• Preparing quality reports and test results.
• Collaborating with analysts, architects, and business teams.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in automated testing.
• Strong knowledge of Java.
• Practical experience with Selenium/JUnit.
• Experience in testing REST APIs.
• Familiarity with tools such as Allure, Git, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience working with Oracle databases.
• Experience in banking or financial projects.
• Knowledge of microservice architecture.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model (Katowice, minimum 1 day per week).

Hybrid work model:

2 days from the office, 3 days of home office.
