Job summary

Sybilla Technologies designs, builds and operates robotic optical observatories for space observation. We seek a Senior Software Engineer to develop high‑performance software for autonomous optical systems using .NET, distributed architectures, and cloud‑native solutions.

You will design, implement, and maintain software for Abot, A24N and AstroDrive, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable solutions and robust backend services in a remote‑first, Poland‑based environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of commercial experience in developing software applications using .NET.
• Advanced knowledge of the .NET ecosystem, software design principles, patterns, and architectures.
• Strong experience with relational databases and Entity Framework.
• Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ) and event‑driven architecture.
• Knowledge of Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Professional proficiency in English for technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software components for Sybilla's Optical Systems and products.
• Deliver new features and improve observational capabilities with scalable software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into reliable software.
• Contribute to software architecture and design decisions for maintainability and scalability.
• Build and optimize backend services, APIs, and integrations with other systems.
• Write clean, well‑tested code and participate in code reviews.
