Job summary

Aurora Solar is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the HelioScope team, building intuitive, high-performing tools that scale for large solar projects. You’ll work across the full stack from backend APIs to frontend UIs and DevOps, contributing to a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.

This hybrid role is based in Warsaw, Poland, with opportunities to shape backend APIs, frontend UIs, and DevOps practices while collaborating closely with product, design, QA, and customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pragmatic craftsmanship delivering high-quality, well-tested products.
• Proficiency in at least one core language, ideally Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or React.
• Experience designing APIs and deploying cloud-native applications.
• Deep knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and Lean values, principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions for existing software and greenfield features as a key player on a fully remote team.
• Mentor peers through thoughtful code reviews, pair programming, and technical leadership.
• Push boundaries, challenge assumptions, and champion smarter, scalable solutions.
• Lead user stories and epics from ideation, through investigation to delivery.
• Drive key initiatives in collaboration with product, design, QA, and customer-facing teams.
