Job summary

Bitcoin.com in Warsaw is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build the core services behind our platform. You will design APIs, data models, and integrations, choosing architectural approaches that scale as we grow.

You will own substantial components end-to-end from design to production, including on-call incident response, and mentor teammates to improve testing, instrumentation, and code quality. Remote work is available initially with a plan to move to hybrid in Poland.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience owning systems in production.
• Strong Rust, Go, or Java/Kotlin skills; production in Rust is a must.

Responsibilities

• Design and build core services behind the product: APIs and data models.
• Own significant pieces end-to-end from design through production, including on-call.
• Partner with Product and Design to shape requirements and scale under real-world load.
• Set the technical standard for the codebase: write maintainable code and mentor others through reviews.
• Drive architecture decisions in early-stage foundations; avoid expensive reversions.
• Mentor engineers and help improve testing, instrumentation, and code quality.
