Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive end-to-end feature work on an RPA platform, focusing on RBAC authorization, gRPC migration, and UI improvements. You will coordinate releases, ensure security and accessibility, and mentor peers across frontend and backend teams.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional groups and system modernization, with a hybrid work model from Poland offices including Gdańsk, Kraków, and Warsaw.

Qualifications

• Strong backend and frontend development experience with RBAC, gRPC, and API design.
• Experience modernizing frontends and migrating legacy code to web-based frameworks.
• Proven ability to write PRDs, user guides, and define KPIs for product launches.
• Experience conducting code reviews, mentoring, and collaborating with accessibility teams.
• Excellent English communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end feature development, PRD authoring, and releases.
• Modernize authorization stacks and RBAC implementations.
• Migration of legacy frontends to modern web frameworks and protocols.
• Develop frontend components and ensure accessibility and UI quality.
• Provide code reviews, run bug bash sessions, and mentor teammates.
• Present demos to stakeholders and contribute to system architecture decisions.
