Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years testing, maintaining, or launching software products; 1 year in large-scale architecture design.
• 3 years Android development experience.
• Experience with Kotlin programming language.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and launch features for the Android Overview experience, such as enhanced drag and drop, pagination, and multi-display support.
• Analyze and improve the performance, responsiveness, and memory footprint of Overview features within Launcher.
• Contribute to the ongoing architectural modernization of Launcher, including MVVM and Jetpack Compose for UI development.
• Investigate, debug, and resolve complex issues related to functionality, performance, and accessibility within Overview.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and engineers across Launcher and Android Platform to build multitasking solutions.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
