Job summary

Google engineers develop next-generation software platforms; work on Pixel devices and in-market Android embedded systems, with emphasis on system software, kernel maintenance, and cross-functional collaboration across Google platforms and devices.

The role involves designing and implementing complex software for scalable hardware and software integration, with opportunities to contribute across desktop, mobile, and embedded ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• Experience working on the Linux kernel.
• Experience in embedded programming using C, C++, or a similar language.

• Design and develop the system software stack for Pixel devices.
• Develop Google SoC and in-market devices system software kernel sustaining.
• Architect, design, develop, test, deploy and maintain complex Android embedded consumer devices.
