Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Digital Hub Warsaw. You will design, develop and deploy full-stack solutions in a regulated Pharma R&D environment, collaborating with IT and R&D experts.

You will lead architectural decisions, drive technical vision, mentor engineers and adopt AI-assisted tooling to improve quality and speed. This role supports hybrid work in Poland and offers a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Excellent university degree in Computer Science (or equivalent natural science degree).
• 5–8+ years of professional software engineering experience with expert-level skills in at least two modern programming languages.
• Experience with backend and/or frontend frameworks such as React.js.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), containerization, and serverless architecture.
• Hands-on expertise in data engineering or data science (bonus).
• Deep understanding of Agile, CI/CD, and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy full-stack solutions in a pharma R&D environment.
• Drive architectural decisions for scalable systems in cross-functional teams.
