Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Developer to design and implement middleware and integration platforms that automate enterprise systems like GitLab and Jira.

You will build reusable services and APIs, develop CI/CD components for GitLab, and work with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Azure to deploy cloud apps. Strong Linux and REST API skills are essential, with at least five years in software development.

Qualifications

• Min. 5 years of experience in software development and integration solutions.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages Python and Go.
• Strong experience working with CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and creating reusable CI components for GitLab.
• Extensive experience in building and using REST APIs.
• Knowledge of database technologies such as Redis and SQLite.
• Experience working with cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Azure.
• Familiarity with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats) and Open Policy Agent (OPA) will be an additional advantage.
• English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing middleware services and integration platforms using Python and Go.
• Creating robust integrations between GitLab and Jira, as well as other platforms such as Elastic Stack and Open Policy Agent.
• Building reusable services, libraries, and APIs to support automation and orchestration of processes.
• Designing and implementing CI/CD components for GitLab.
• Creating cloud applications and middleware.
• Maintaining awareness of Linux system operations and Linux shell commands.
