Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Developer to design and develop middleware and integration solutions for automating enterprise platforms such as GitLab and Jira. The role focuses on building middleware, automation tools, and CI/CD components in GitLab to improve software delivery and operational efficiency.

You will work with Python and Go to create reusable services, APIs, and integrations, including connections to Elastic Stack, OPA, Kubernetes and OpenShift in a cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Min. 5 years of experience in software development and integration solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Python and Go.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and creating reusable CI components for GitLab.
• Extensive experience building and using REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Redis and SQLite.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Azure.
• Familiarity with Elastic Stack and Open Policy Agent will be an additional advantage.
• English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop middleware services and integration platforms using Python and Go.
• Create robust integrations between GitLab and Jira, and other platforms such as Elastic Stack and Open Policy Agent.
• Build reusable services, libraries, and APIs to support automation and orchestration of processes.
• Design and implement CI/CD components for GitLab.
• Create cloud applications and middleware.
• Maintain awareness of Linux system operations and Linux shell commands.
