Job summary

Omada Identity in Warsaw, Poland, is seeking a data-focused software engineer for the Analytics team to design data pipelines, optimize SQL, and build backend services in .NET/C# within a hybrid, cloud-native environment.

You will work with Sisense dashboards, Azure Kubernetes, and contribute to architecture decisions while maintaining code quality in a distributed team of eight engineers across Spain and Poland.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in relational databases, MS SQL Server.
• Solid experience with .NET and C#.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with BI platforms (Sisense, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain data pipelines and data models feeding ODW and history tracking.
• Write and optimize complex SQL and improve data quality at scale.
• Develop and maintain backend services in .NET/C#.
• Build analytics dashboards and data models in Sisense.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and technical debt discussions.
• Ensure end-to-end quality with automated testing in a distributed setup.
• Collaborate with product teams producing or consuming data.

About The Team

FT8 is the Analytics team within Omada Identity, a leading Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platform. We own the data and reporting layer of the product: the Omada Data Warehouse (ODW), History Tracking, Report Generator, Access Navigator and our analytics dashboards. Our work gives customers visibility into who has access to what, how that access changed over time, and whether it complies with policy.

We are a distributed team of eight engineers across Spain and Poland. Our product runs in SaaS (Azure Kubernetes Service, multi-tenant), private cloud and on-premises deployments, so the work we do has to hold up in very different environments.

What You Will Do

• Design, build and maintain data pipelines and data models that feed ODW and History Tracking.
• Write and optimize complex SQL, diagnose performance issues and improve data quality at scale.
• Develop and maintain backend services and components in .NET/C#.
• Build and evolve analytics dashboards and data models in Sisense.
• Take part in technical design, refinement and code review, and contribute to decisions on architecture and technical debt.
• Own the quality of your work end to end, including automated testing, as part of our distributed testing model.
• Collaborate with other product teams whose components produce or consume the data we manage.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in relational databases, ideally Microsoft SQL Server: advanced T-SQL, data modeling, indexing, execution plans and performance tuning.
• Solid experience with .NET and C# in production systems.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts (dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT, historical and slowly changing data).
• Experience working with Business Intelligence platforms (e.g. Sisense, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik), building data models and dashboards.
• Comfort working in a distributed team, with strong written and spoken English, as it is our working language.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Sisense (ElastiCubes, data models, dashboards).
• JavaScript, especially for BI customization (Sisense plugins, BloX, custom widgets).
• SSIS or other ETL tooling.
• Azure, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Azure DevOps (boards, pipelines, repos).
• Experience with identity, access management or compliance-driven domains.
