Job summary

Hitachi ABB Power Grids is seeking a seasoned software engineer in Łódź to design and develop applications using C# and modern .NET. You will build scalable backend services, REST APIs, and drive architecture decisions while improving CI/CD and deployment on Azure.

Strong emphasis on reliability, observability, and enterprise integrations is expected. You will work with Azure services, OpenAI-related features, and modern tooling to deliver secure, maintainable solutions with a focus on quality

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in C# and modern .NET.
• Experience building enterprise-grade applications and backend services.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience developing REST APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Knowledge of SQL Server and Entity Framework.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure services.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of software quality, reliability, and operational readiness.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools is an advantage.
• Azure OpenAI or Semantic Kernel is a plus.
• Confident communication skills in English.

• Explore Azure OpenAI and Semantic Kernel for engineering applications.
