Job summary

WithSecure is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a small, expert team building and operating the web applications and backend services behind our detection and response offering.

You will design, build, and run production features across frontend and backend, taking ownership of components and collaborating with product management, security analysts, and other engineering teams. Experience with Vue 3 and Python/Node.js is valued.

Qualifications

• Several years of commercial software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain front-end Vue 3 applications and shared components.
• Build and operate backend services with Python and Node.js/TypeScript.
• Contribute to Rust services and AI capabilities in production systems.
• Support CI/CD modernisation and migrate pipelines to GitHub Actions.
• Review code, own technical design decisions, and document architecture choices.
• Participate in incident handling and operational support for owned services.
