Job summary

Intellistack is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Formstack team and help build, maintain, and operate the platform. You’ll work across frontend and backend, shaping product quality and velocity in a dynamic SaaS environment.

You’ll mentor teammates, participate in architecture discussions, and leverage AI-powered tooling to boost delivery and reliability across multiple products.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience developing and supporting customer-facing SaaS applications.
• Strong full-stack development experience with modern web technologies.
• Experience working across multiple products or large distributed applications.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including GitHub workflows, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications on AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience maintaining application dependencies, framework upgrades, and security vulnerability remediation.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex production issues across application code and distributed systems.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy production-quality software across multiple Formstack applications and shared platform services.
• Contribute across frontend and backend codebases, applying strong engineering fundamentals without requiring deep specialization in a single application.
• Design and implement improvements that improve reliability, security, maintainability, and engineering velocity.
• Own and improve development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
• Maintain and modernize application dependencies and runtime environments to keep products secure and performant.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues spanning multiple products and services.
• Partner with Platform Engineering, Product, and Customer Support to deliver reliable, secure customer experiences.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and engineering planning.
• Mentor other engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools to improve productivity, quality, and delivery velocity.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for production support.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Formstack team, you'll help build, maintain, and operate the Formstack platform.
