Job summary

airSlate is a global SaaS company delivering no-code workflow automation, e-signature, and document management. We seek a senior software engineer to build production software with AI coding agents, contributing to end-to-end features and system reliability.

You will own features, review agent outputs, and improve team processes across global hubs including the US, Poland, Romania, Ukraine and more. Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Experience building production software with AI coding agents.
• Commercial experience with PHP, Node.js or Golang.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Strong SQL and relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Working knowledge of Docker for development and deployment.
• DevOps, CI/CD, AWS and cloud-native basics.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Delivering product features with AI coding agents as the primary implementation loop, with specs and context-rich tasks.
• Reviewing and verifying agent-generated code with rigorous checks before production.
• Owning features end-to-end: requirements, quality, testing, production deployment, and post-release monitoring.
• Improving team workflows with agents: context, prompts, and guardrails.
• Conducting code and documentation reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
• Participating in duty rotations: monitoring production systems and incidents.
• Growing technically within a team with strong engineering culture and clean architecture.

What You Will Be Working On

• Delivering product features with AI coding agents as your primary implementation loop: writing specs and context-rich tasks that carry architecture, team standards, existing patterns, and acceptance criteria, then iterating until the output meets the bar
• Reviewing and verifying agent-generated code with the same rigor you would apply to a colleague's, catching the plausible-but-wrong before it reaches production
• Taking full ownership of every feature end-to-end: clarifying requirements, understanding the problem, owning the quality and test coverage of what you ship, delivering to production, then monitoring behavior, performance, and regressions post-release
• Improving how the team works with agents: the shared context, rules, prompts, and guardrails that make everyone's agent output better, not just yours
• Conducting code and documentation reviews to ensure quality, share knowledge, and maintain consistency across the codebase
• Participating in duty rotations: monitoring production systems, responding to incidents, keeping services available
• Growing technically inside a team with a strong engineering culture, clean architecture, and a high bar for delivery

What We Expect From You

• 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience
• Hands-on experience building production software with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or similar), including how you set up context, decompose work for an agent, and validate what comes back. Be ready to describe outcomes, not tool names
• Practical commercial experience with PHP, Node.js or Golang
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
• Solid SQL and experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar)
• Working knowledge of Docker for application development and deployment
• Practical experience with testing methodologies, and an opinion on what "sufficient coverage" means
• At least basic knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, AWS, and cloud-native solutions
• Ability to write technical documentation using approaches like the C4 model and ADRs
• Strong task decomposition and prioritization skills
• Fluent English, written and spoken
