Job summary

ABC Fitness is seeking a skilled backend engineer to design and implement Go services powering the Glofox platform and Xlerate CRM. You will build reliable APIs, collaborate across product and QA, and contribute to continuous delivery in an Agile environment.

You will work with CircleCI, AWS and MongoDB, participate in code reviews, and help raise technical and team standards while growing with a passionate, supportive team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with a general-purpose programming language, 2+ in Golang.
• Experience designing and maintaining APIs and service-oriented backends, including webhooks and event-driven systems.
• Knowledge of MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of the practical application of agile development methods in an Agile/Lean/Continuous Delivery environment.
• Knowledge of modern Quality and Testing principles.
• Comfortable learning new technologies and systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain APIs and service logic powering the communications on the Glofox platform and its CRM solution: Xlerate.
• Work with Circle CI, AWS and MongoDB as needed for feature delivery.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and testers to ship reliable increments.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of our delivery practices.
• Work with an energized, fun, friendly and customer-focused cross-functional team.
• Use cutting edge Agile & Lean ways of working underpinned by DevOps and CI/CD.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field exp. preferred
• 4+ years of experience with a general-purpose programming language, 2+ in Golang
• Experience designing and maintaining APIs and service-oriented backends, including webhooks and event-driven systems
• Knowledge of MongoDB
• Solid understanding of the practical application of agile development methods in an Agile/Lean/Continuous Delivery environment
• Knowledge of modern Quality and Testing principles
• Comfortable learning new technologies and systems
• Basic knowledge of code versioning tools
• Strong written and verbal communication

Compensation for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and market considerations. The anticipated compensation range for this position is - 230,000.00 - 250,000.00 PLN- annually. In addition to base compensation, eligible employees may be offered other forms of compensation, such as bonuses, commissions, equity, or other incentive programs, where applicable. Compensation and benefits may vary by location and are subject to applicable legal, business, and market requirements.
