Job summary

affideagroup is seeking a Senior Software Developer to lead architecture and design decisions within a defined product area. You will set coding standards, mentor junior developers, and serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues while delivering high-quality, tested code.

You will participate in cross-team design discussions with architects and business analysts, contribute to API design and scalable solutions, and help drive improvements in engineering practices and tooling.

Qualifications

5-8+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated technical leadership.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Own architecture and design decisions for a product area or system component.
Define coding standards and lead code reviews to ensure quality.
Mentor junior and mid-level developers through pairing and feedback.
Serve as escalation point for complex technical problems and perform root-cause analysis.
Contribute to cross-team technical decisions and solution design discussions.
Deliver working software to scope and specifications with high quality.
