Job summary

Auctane in Wroclaw is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to influence architecture, mentor engineers, and drive improvements across our engineering stack. You will design scalable components and set best practices that shape our product evolution.

Collaborate with product and cross‑functional teams to define requirements, implement robust testing strategies, and optimize performance, reliability, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 3+ years of experience with .NET.
• Strong fundamentals in software engineering with focus on quality and scalability.
• Understanding of software architecture and leading cross‑team collaboration.
• Proficiency in Polish and English for this role.
• Experience advocating for quality and engineering rigor.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect components.
• Mentor junior software engineers and conduct technical code reviews.
• Develop comprehensive testing strategies for complex feature sets.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and maintainability across the platform.
• Diagnose and resolve complex software, infrastructure and framework issues.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define requirements.
• Drive documentation, knowledge sharing, and engineering standards.
• Manage technical debt and refactor systems for scale and performance
