Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and operate a highly automated multi-cloud provisioning platform. You will serve as a technical authority, define reliability standards, and mentor the engineering team.

You will architect scalable systems, implement end-to-end automation, monitor SLIs/SLOs, and drive RCA after incidents, collaborating with product teams to embed reliability and security early in the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, or Systems Infrastructure.
• At least 3 years of advanced expertise with AWS, including architecting and troubleshooting cloud environments.
• Proven experience managing, scaling, and provisioning Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Demonstrated autonomy in making architectural decisions and delivering production-ready, automated infrastructure without daily supervision.
• Strong technical communication skills with the ability to align with Technical Leads and collaborate across engineering teams.
• Advanced level of English and residency in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Architect and drive the reliability, scalability, and performance of our multi-cloud provisioning platform across all production stacks.
• Implement end-to-end automation pipelines to eliminate manual intervention and reduce technical toil.
• Define, monitor, and improve critical system health indicators (SLIs/SLOs) to make data-driven architectural recommendations.
• Collaborate with product and cross-functional engineering teams to embed reliability and security considerations early in the SDLC.
• Design robust incident detection mechanisms, triage critical incidents, and lead deep Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to implement long-term preventative engineering solutions.
• Audit platform operations to identify bottlenecks, eliminate single points of failure, and reduce structural complexity.
