Allegro Ltd. in Kraków seeks a highly experienced Reliability Engineer to lead team projects across a massive distributed architecture. You will design reliability solutions, build internal platforms, and drive incident response improvements, including AI-assisted tooling.

Qualifications

• Solid engineering background with distributed systems and microservices.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, Python or Go.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker; networking and service mesh concepts.
• Experience with Chaos Engineering and performance testing frameworks.
• Monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) and incident commander experience.
• CI/CD and IaC tooling expertise.
• Ownership mindset, data-driven, mentoring engineers, shaping architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate team-level projects to improve system reliability.
• Design and implement reliability solutions and internal platforms.
• Build an AI agent to improve incident response and act as senior Incident Commander.
• Develop and scale self-service performance testing with real-time observability.
• Create automated resiliency platform for fault injection and quarterly failover tests.
• Own team reliability, manage tech debt, and automate infrastructure.
• Mentor engineers and set code quality standards.
• Influence architecture decisions at Allegro scale.
