Unit4 is seeking an Information Protection & Security Operations Engineer for a hybrid role. You will split time between information protection with Purview DLP and Insider Risk Management, and Security Operations including Defender XDR, SIEM, and incident response. Collaborate with IT teams to protect data and ensure compliance.

You will design policies, implement encryption and retention, and drive security improvements across the org while engaging with HR, Legal, and Compliance partners.

Competenze

• Hands-on experience implementing Purview DLP and Insider Risk Management in a production environment.
• Knowledge of sensitivity labels, information classification, encryption and retention concepts.
• Understanding of data protection and privacy regulations and frameworks (e.g. GDPR, ISO 27001, NIS2) and how they translate into technical controls.
• Ability to balance security requirements with user productivity and to work sensitively with HR, Legal and Compliance on insider risk topics.

Mansioni

• Information Protection (approx. 50%): Maintain, design, deploy and tune Purview DLP policies across Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, endpoints and cloud apps.
• Configure and operate insider risk management; collaborate with HR/Legal/Compliance on policy templates and case triage.
• Implement and maintain information classification, sensitivity labels and encryption; manage retention policies.
• Information Protection standards, processes and runbooks; support audits (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, NIS2).
• Security Operations (approx. 50%): Deploy and configure security solutions; monitor for incidents and triage alerts in Defender XDR and Sentinel.
• Investigate incidents and remediation plans; coordinate with infra/app teams for remediation of findings.
• Develop security policies, detection rules, automation and playbooks; provide guidance to IT teams.
