Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join the Core Compute Team in Poland. You will design and execute system-level tests for the ARM-based multi-core landscape and ensure robust automation across the CI/CD stack.

You will work with Python-based test suites, extend Jenkins pipelines, and validate both software and hardware interactions on bare-metal hardware, enabling production readiness and seamless migration from x86 to ARM.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in software testing and test automation for complex infra environments.
• Advanced Python proficiency, including automated test development.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Extend and maintain Jenkins and Groovy CI/CD meta-pipelines, including ARM branches and configurations.
• Develop and maintain Python-based automated tests for system and control-plane validation.
• Automate test execution and adapt performance testing for ARM ecosystem.
• Perform smoke, system, and integration testing on bare-metal lab hardware to verify production readiness.
• Support validation of migration/integration of infrastructure from x86 to ARM.
• Test changes related to NUMA memory allocation logic and QEMU orchestration.
• Analyze test results and troubleshoot failures with development engineers.
• Contribute to improving test coverage, automation, and overall platform quality.
