Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Platform Infrastructure Team in Wrocław. You will own kernel rebasing, QEMU tuning, and security hardware integration for ARM compute nodes, focusing on reliability and performance.

You will work on Linux kernel (v6.x), ARM64 internals, KVM/QEMU virtualization, TPM 2.0/vTPM, and cross-compilation pipelines, collaborating with a global cloud fleet and diverse client projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus heavy kernel/low-level systems experience.
• Deep Linux kernel (v6.x) and ARM64 internals expertise.
• Strong C, assembly, and low-level OS integration skills.
• Extensive experience with KVM and QEMU, including ARM-on-ARM nested virtualization, plus TPM 2.0 / vTPM integration.
• Hands-on with cross-compilation toolchains, GDB, JTAG, and trace tools.

Responsibilities

• Configure, patch, and build the Linux kernel and QEMU for ARM hardware.
• Migrate and rebase existing x86 patches to support the new ARM Debian build.
• Implement and test TPM 2.0 measured boot protocols and vTPM virtualization integrations.
• Set up cross-compilation build pipelines (MBS / Jenkins) for building QEMU, Linux, and kernel modules.
• Debug complex hardware‑software integration issues on ARM bare-metal lab machines.
