Job summary

Allegro Ltd. is seeking Senior Scala Engineers to design and build a highly scalable data ingestion platform for millions of Allegro customers. You will work in a Data & AI team using Scala, Java, and Python, across on-prem and Google Cloud Platform services like Spark and Beam.

You will join a hybrid setup with modern tooling, a strong emphasis on clean code, TDD, CI/CD, and collaboration across teams to deliver reliable, high-throughput data processing systems.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Scala or Java and Python used in production.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and data processing frameworks.
• Knowledge of GCP or other cloud environments like Azure or AWS.
• Adheres to clean code, TDD, and CI/CD practices.
• Navigate efficiently within Unix/Linux systems.
• English at B2 level.

• Maintain and improve streaming/processing pipelines and platforms.
