Job summary

Mars seeks a Senior Lead for SAP QM to drive design and deployment of quality management capabilities across Royal Canin and Mars locations. You will lead a team, ensure conformance to specifications and enable future processes for material testing and QA across the supply chain.

You will collaborate with regional teams and BI/IT leads to deliver robust SAP QM solutions, with a focus on testing, validation and change management in a global context.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience with SAP QM module in a manufacturing context.
• Experience with SAP PP/MM.
• Experience with SAP global template development/deployment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and Quality & Food Safety practices.
• Proven project management of complex multinational solutions.
• Good communications, especially in English.
• Ability to lead and influence others.
• Curious to investigate business needs and learn new technology.
• Experience working with system integration vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional leadership for defining and implementing SAP QM across Royal Canin’s factories and suppliers.
• Deliver expertise on SAP Quality Management modules including planning, inspection, certificates of analysis and non-conformance.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Inbound Logistics leaders to ensure end-to-end quality and compliance.
• Drive the System Integrator to deliver the SAP QM design with robust testing and controls.
• Ensure knowledge management, documentation, training and continuous improvement.
• Define scope and process design with regional stakeholders for quality & food safety.
• Lead solution design for SAP QM with global standardization.
• Coordinate master data for material, vendor, and inspection data.
• Integrate SAP QM with QMS, LIMS and other quality systems.
• Collaborate with R&D to align quality processes with formulations and BOMs.
• Work with Procure to Pay and Supplier Quality to meet supplier quality standards.
• Guide deployment teams for rollout, testing, validation and change management.
• Identify opportunities for digitalisation, analytics, automation and supplier integration.
