Danish Crown A/S, Krakow Global IT, seeks an experienced SAP FI/CO consultant to support finance solutions in a global, transformation-driven environment.

You will translate business needs into scalable SAP configurations, collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, IT, and business units, and contribute to ongoing S/4HANA initiatives while ensuring stable operation of core financial processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of SAP FI/CO consulting experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to translate business needs into SAP solutions.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration across IT and finance.
• Willingness to travel up to 20 days per year.
• Knowledge of IFRS/local GAAP is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, and support of SAP FI modules with a focus on GL, AP/AR, and FI-AA.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate financial accounting requirements into SAP solutions.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including asset-related processes.
• Drive process improvements and automation in Financial Accounting with a focus on controls.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and global accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end process integration.
• Provide incident resolution and continuous system enhancements.
• Contribute to SAP S/4HANA transformations, especially FI-AA, leasing, and banking capabilities.

Senior SAP FI/CO Business Consultant – Global IT

How you will make an impact

You will work with the development and continuous improvement of our finance solutions. In close collaboration with business stakeholders, solution architects, and developers, you will translate business needs into technical requirements and scalable solutions.

You will become part of the Finance team within Global IT. Our purpose is to develop, maintain and support digital solutions that enable Finance, Procurement, HR, and Farmer Service processes.

Key responsibilities

Lead design, configuration, and support of SAP FI modules with a focus on General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR), and Asset Accounting (FI-AA)

Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate financial accounting requirements into SAP system solutions

Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including asset closing, lease accounting adjustments, and bank reconciliation

Drive process improvements and automation within Financial Accounting, with focus on efficiency, controls, and standardization

Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and global accounting standards (IFRS/local GAAP)

Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Controlling, Procurement, Treasury, IT) to ensure integrated end-to-end processes

Provide incident resolution and continuous support, including root cause analysis and system enhancements

Contribute to SAP S/4HANA transformations, especially in areas related to FI-AA, leasing, and banking capabilities

You have solid professional experience as SAP FI/CO consultant and can translate your expertise into tangible business value. You are curious by nature, lead value-driven discussions and leverage data insights to support decision-making, ensuring that the solutions developed create the highest possible impact for Danish Crown. You communicate your insights clearly and create shared understanding across teams. You take ownership of driving the implementation and adoption of our solutions, while you help keep a strong focus on the bigger picture and ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

You have several years of experience as an SAP FI/CO consultant (minimum 5 years)

Strong communication & facilitation skills with the ability to build trust and engage stakeholders

Proven ability to translate business needs into valuable software solutions

A team player who thrives in cross-functional environments

Take ownership, show initiative, and drive progress

Value feedback and contribute to a collaborative team culture

You are ready to travel to the extend needed to support and implement our solutions in our business units (expected maximum of 20 days a year)
