Job summary

Moderna Warsaw hub is seeking an experienced SAP FI-AP specialist to own and optimize end-to-end AP processes, harnessing OpenText VIM, OCR, and intelligent document processing. You will drive straight-through processing and partner with Procurement to improve matching, while ensuring compliance and tax controls across regions.

You will lead testing cycles, support global rollout, and push automation via AI/ML to improve KPIs, with SOX controls and documentation to back your work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field.
• 7+ years SAP FI-AP and Procure-to-Pay experience.
• Proficiency in OpenText VIM and AP workflows.
• Experience with OCR/invoice capture and AP automation.
• Knowledge of STP, RTR, and month-end close requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the SAP FI-AP subject matter expert, incl. downstream RTR impacts.
• Configure and optimize Accounts Payable processes and vendor invoice handling.
• Lead design and support of OpenText VIM, including OCR capture and workflows.
• Drive touchless invoice processing to maximize STP rates across PO and non-PO flows.
• Coordinate with Procurement to optimize 2- and 3-way matching and ensure invoicing compliance.
• Oversee integrations with Ariba, supplier portals, EDI, and other invoicing ecosystems.
• Lead global e-invoicing initiatives with partners like EDICOM for country mandates.
• Manage payment program configuration, methods, blocks, and bank file transmission.
• Lead global banking integrations using ISO20022 formats and maintain reconciliation frameworks.
• Support end-to-end payment operations and ensure RTR alignment and controls.
• Translate requirements into specs and lead testing (Unit/SIT/UAT).
• Drive automation via AI/ML, OCR, and RPA to improve KPIs and productivity.
• Maintain SOX compliance and comprehensive runbooks and SOPs.
• Deliver training and global rollout/localization of AP/VIM processes.
