Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Senior Research Associate to lead de novo data collection projects and coordinate scientific work across teams. You will draft protocols, analysis plans, and reports, and engage with sponsors and clinical sites to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires a PhD in epidemiology or MSc with relevant experience, strong epidemiologic expertise, and fluent Mandarin Chinese and English. Some travel and mentorship responsibilities are expected.

Qualifications

• PhD in epidemiology or MSc with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with de novo data collection (field) projects.
• Good understanding of epidemiologic methodology.
• Working knowledge of data analysis software (SAS, Stata, R) a plus.
• Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement de novo data collection projects under supervision.
• Provide scientific guidance on study design and conduct.
• Lead development of draft deliverables (protocols, analysis plans, CRFs, surveys, reports).
• Engage with sponsors, physicians, clinical sites, and contacts.
• Monitor project budgets and timelines for scientific tasks.
• In some client engagements, serve as Principal Investigator with responsibilities for budget and timelines.
• Lead abstracts and manuscripts development.
• Support business development and proposal activities.
• Supervise/mentor junior staff and collaborate with clinical operations, data management, biostatistics, and data analysts.
• Travel (national and international) may be expected.
