Job summary

AMD Advanced Rendering and Engineering seeks a seasoned software engineer to push the boundaries of graphics and compute. You will work on cutting-edge shader code, C++, and ML techniques to empower game developers and publishers on AMD hardware.

You should have strong GPU/APU programming skills, experience with HLSL/GLSL/Slang and modern C++, and be able to collaborate across teams. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally is a plus.

Qualifications

• Computer science background with experience writing efficient, high-level shader code (HLSL SM6, GLSL, Slang) and modern C++ (17 and up).
• Strong GPU/APU programming skills and ML familiarity.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.

Responsibilities

• Transform proof-of-concept prototypes into mature products with high quality.
• Collaborate with external game developers to integrate technologies into titles.
• Optimize, extend, package and document high-level shader and C++ code.
