Job summary

GFT Technologies SE seeks an experienced Test Automation Engineer to shape and lead the automation strategy within a large-scale modernization program built on Azure, .NET and React. You will design, implement and maintain automation frameworks and ensure quality across delivery lifecycles.

Responsibilities include integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, validating data flows in SQL environments, and collaborating with developers to improve acceptance criteria and test coverage.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in test automation and framework development.
• Strong experience with C#/.NET and automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience with unit, integration, API and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with xUnit, NUnit, Vitest or Jest.
• Experience integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills and data validation across data flows.
• Experience with REST API testing and authentication mechanisms.
• Strong understanding of testing best practices, test data management and QA processes.
• Experience with Git, code reviews and clean code practices.
• English at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the test automation strategy within a large-scale modernization program on Azure, .NET and React.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks.
• Create and execute unit, integration, API and end-to-end automated tests.
• Integrate automated testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Validate application data, business processes and data flows across SQL and data warehouse environments.
• Analyze defects, improve test reliability and monitor quality metrics.
• Collaborate with developers on acceptance criteria, test coverage and code quality.
• Support user acceptance testing and release activities.
