Job summary

Traffit is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our client’s team. You will focus on test automation across microservices, integrations, APIs and asynchronous workflows, building and maintaining robust test frameworks in C#/.NET.

You’ll collaborate with Developers, DevOps and Product Owners, work with Docker/Kubernetes, SQL/NoSQL, and leverage AI tools to enhance testing and quality across the lifecycle. The role is based in Gdynia, Poland, with a long-term B2B contract.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA/Automation experience.
• Strong automation experience in C#/.NET.
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Proficient in testing APIs, integrations and asynchronous workflows.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Good command of English.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join the team of our client – an international company providing digital solutions and data services for the maritime, energy and industrial sectors.

You will work on a complex platform built around microservices, event-driven communication, system integrations and large-scale data processing. The role focuses on test automation across microservices, integrations, APIs and asynchronous workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining automated tests using C#/.NET
• Building and maintaining test frameworks
• Testing microservices, distributed systems and asynchronous workflows
• Designing and executing integration and end-to-end tests
• Testing event-driven communication and event flows
• Testing APIs and asynchronous communication such as webhooks and WebSockets
• Working with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Investigating production issues and performing root cause analysis
• Supporting quality across the development lifecycle
• Collaborating with Developers, DevOps, Product Owners and other cross-functional team members
• Using AI tools to support testing, automation, analysis and everyday engineering work
• Strong commercial experience in software testing and QA
• Solid experience in test automation, preferably with C#/.NET
• Experience in building and maintaining test frameworks
• Practical experience with microservices and distributed systems
• Experience with event-driven architecture and technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Experience testing asynchronous communication and workflows
• Strong experience with integration and end-to-end testing
• Experience with systems processing large volumes of data
• Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Good knowledge of SQL and experience with NoSQL databases
• Experience with root cause analysis and production issue investigation
• Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban
• Good command of English
