Job summary

We are looking for a Senior Python/Django Architect to join a project for a Norwegian client in the financial sector. This is a highly technical architecture role for someone who can not only design solutions, but also challenge existing approaches, provide technical direction, advise the client and solve complex problems.

The role requires strong knowledge of Django ORM, data modelling, DRF, Django Filters & Celery, plus expertise in performance, scalability and optimisation.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Django ORM, data modelling, DRF, Django Filters & Celery.
• Proven experience with performance, scalability and optimisation.
• Hands-on experience scaling an existing Django system without a big-bang rewrite.
• Strong PostgreSQL and Redis knowledge.
• Experience with software architecture and technical assessments.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Ability to connect business, product and engineering perspectives.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
