Job summary

Response Informatics Limited. seeks a Senior Python Developer to design and implement scalable backend systems based on microservices and cloud-native architectures.

You will build robust RESTful APIs, containerized services, and deploy on Kubernetes/OpenShift, while focusing on security, performance, and reliability. The role requires strong Python expertise, experience with distributed systems, and hands-on containerization and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python for backend development.
• Experience building REST APIs and web services.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Understanding of cloud-native application design principles.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka and Pub/Sub.
• Knowledge of asynchronous processing and event-driven system design.
• Experience implementing OAuth 2.0 and SSO.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs and backend services using Python
• Build and maintain enterprise-grade microservices architectures
• Develop and manage event-driven applications using Kafka or Pub/Sub systems
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, SSO)
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy on Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms
• Design and integrate with relational and NoSQL databases
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to enable CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
• Ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architectural improvements
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and distributed environments
