Qualifications

• Min. 3 lata doświadczenia w zarządzaniu zespołem w środowisku chmurowym.
• Min. 5 lat doświadczenia jako programista w projektach technicznych.
• Doskonale umiejętności w języku angielskim i polskim (poziom C1+).
• Doświadczenie w bezpieczeństwie i zgodności, np. ISO27001.

Job description

Fibertide employs engineers with strong mathematical and computer science backgrounds. We design, maintain and develop large-scale cloud systems for companies from the U.S. and Europe. Our customers include both ambitious startups and established businesses that require assistance improving their technologies for large userbases, big datasets and rapid growth.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with exceptional interpersonal skills and technical knowledge to help our engineering teams deliver the best results to our clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing projects of international reach.
• Leading small teams of engineers (around 5 people per team).
• Aligning company goals, clients' expectations, and team needs.
• Designing project-specific formalized procedures for recurring activities.
• Providing feedback and performing cross-department tasks.

We expect that you:

• Have 3+ years of experience leading or managing a team in a cloud/SRE/large-scale systems environment.
• Have 5+ years of experience as a software engineer in projects involving strong CS skills.
• Possess excellent communication skills in English and Polish (C1+ level).
• Understand team dynamics and can lead and react to various events.
• Can manage your time and assist others in doing so.
• Are eager to develop further and translate technical and business languages.
• Have a solid understanding of cloud systems and mechanisms.
• Experience in software development with C++, Go, or Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
• Experience in security and compliance, e.g., ISO27001.
• Degree in Computer Science or related fields.
• Strong theoretical CS or Mathematics background.
• Experience managing complex Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience working with external clients in US and UK markets.
• Fluency in French, German, Spanish, Danish, or Dutch.
