Job summary

SoftServe in France seeks a Senior IT Infrastructure and Migration Lead to manage a major on-site Paris project. You will own discovery, planning, and cutover of legacy systems while coordinating local stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure smooth execution.

Based on-site in Paris (regular presence), you will drive end-to-end migration activities, manage risks, and report progress to client stakeholders, aligning with regulatory needs in life sciences.

Qualifications

• Experience leading on-site infrastructure migrations.
• End-to-end project management of discovery and cutover.
• Strong on-site coordination with clients and teams.
• Experience in regulated life sciences environments is a plus.
• French language proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own planning and execution of on-site migration cutovers that cannot be run remotely, driving decisions and actions to minimize disruption.
• Build relationships with the local acquired IT team and client stakeholders to accelerate issue resolution and enable successful outcomes.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities between client IT, the acquired team, and SoftServe delivery to align schedules and dependencies.
• Track and communicate progress, risks, and dependencies; provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Represent SoftServe’s delivery approach with client stakeholders on-site and ensure alignment with objectives.

About The Role

In this role you will lead a major on-site IT infrastructure and cloud migration in Paris, owning discovery, planning, and cutover of legacy systems and applications while coordinating local IT stakeholders and driving execution end-to-end. Our Client is a global life sciences and healthcare services leader, with research and lab facilities supporting worldwide users and improving public health outcomes. You will be at the center of a multi-party delivery team, aligning acquired local IT with the client’s broader technology ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site discovery to establish the existing infrastructure, applications, and dependencies at the Paris site, collaborating closely with the local acquired IT team, the client’s IT organization, and SoftServe’s delivery team to ensure accurate and actionable findings
• Own planning and execution of on-site migration cutovers that cannot be run remotely, driving decisions and actions that minimize disruption and improve overall migration effectiveness for the Paris site
• Build working relationships and trust with the local acquired IT team as the primary source of institutional knowledge, partnering with them and client stakeholders to accelerate issue resolution and enable successful discovery and cutover outcomes
• Coordinate cross-functional activities between the client’s IT organization, the acquired team, and SoftServe’s delivery team, aligning schedules, priorities, and dependencies to keep discovery and migration cutovers on track
• Track and communicate progress, risks, and dependencies throughout discovery and cutover phases, providing clear, timely updates to stakeholders and enabling informed decision-making on-site
• Represent SoftServe’s delivery approach directly with client stakeholders on-site, explaining methodologies, clarifying expectations, and ensuring alignment between discovery, cutover execution, and the client’s objectives

Requirements

• Be based in France or spend meaningful, regular time on site in Paris to support a non-fully-remote delivery model
• Proven experience managing infrastructure and IT migration projects end-to-end, including discovery and cutover phases
• Strong proficiency with acting as the primary on-site point of contact for technical topics and day-to-day project coordination
• Advanced stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and align cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for building trust with client-side technical and business stakeholders
• Practical experience operating in regulated environments or life sciences sectors (nice-to-have)
• Strong working proficiency in French language to support on-site collaboration in Paris (nice-to-have)
