Job summary

Commit's Global Services & Customer Engagement team is hiring a Professional Services Engineer (SW Developer) to own the technical backbone of the FDE program, build custom integrations, and lead deployment reviews across regions. A senior, customer-facing role with travel up to 50%.

You will collaborate with R&D and Product to design scalable solutions and apply AI-powered automation to improve service delivery worldwide.

Qualifications

Backend engineering with 7+ years of experience; Python preferred (Node.js/Java accepted).
Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and data-pipeline integration.
Practical AI/ML experience with LLMs, agentic workflows, and production AI tooling.
Cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP; Docker and Kubernetes; CI/CD.
Professional services background with field engineering and enterprise customer engagements; scoping & architecting.
Experience with SQL/NoSQL data environments and ETL.
Strong customer engagement and communication; travel up to 50%.
Leadership: influence without authority; mentoring distributed engineers.

Responsibilities

Own the Technical Ownership of the FDE program across global regions.
Define scoping methodology, quality standards, and solutions with regional teams.
Travel onsite to lead workshops and deployment reviews; build scalable FDE frameworks.
Design, develop, and deliver custom integrations and workflows connecting platforms with customer environments.
Engage directly with enterprise customers to co-design solutions and validate outcomes in the field.
Collaborate with R&D and Product to align field realities with product capabilities.
Identify AI-powered automation opportunities to improve delivery quality and efficiency.
Act as final escalation point for deployment challenges and architecture questions.
