Senior Production Application Support @ Rits Center (Polska)

Pivotal role that supports the Institutional Fixed Income Electronic Trading Platform within Technical Operations to ensure that clients, dealers and internal teams have a seamless one‑touch customer experience. Working as part of a global team the London team is exposed to incidents and problems that could be raised in Tokyo, London and the US. The role gives the opportunity to be part of a dynamic high‑performing team and to be at the forefront of cutting‑edge electronic trading technology.

Job Details

100% Remote. Budget for materials and hardware such as standing desks, laptops, monitors, WeWork‑type workspaces, etc. Free private medical insurance or Medicover Sport membership. Long‑term cooperation. Integration trips to NY, London, Warsaw several times a year for 3–4 days (non‑mandatory, expenses covered).

Responsibilities
  • Ensure high availability of production and UAT environments through proactive monitoring, incident management, and timely issue resolution.
  • Perform root cause analysis using application logs and code inspection, and provide workarounds where appropriate.
  • Take ownership of application components and act as a subject matter expert for assigned systems.
  • Proactively assign, prioritize, and manage support tickets in the ServiceNow queue to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external clients, acting as a technical liaison during incidents, releases, and project go‑lives.
  • Drive automation and continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process and tooling enhancements.
  • Own and manage configuration across UAT and production environments to ensure stability and consistency.
  • Operate and maintain monitoring and alerting tools (ELK, PagerDuty, and internal systems).
  • Maintain high‑quality technical documentation in Confluence to support knowledge sharing and onboarding of support teams.
  • Participate in disaster recovery testing, business continuity planning, and infrastructure upgrade activities.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in high‑pressure environments, preferably front‑office application support.
  • Extensive experience managing client queries and problems.
  • Experience with n‑tier architecture and complex systems.
  • Strong experience in object‑oriented programming (preferably C++).
  • Strong experience working with relational and non‑relational databases; querying, scripting experience with SQL Server 2012 preferred.
  • Experience with ELK, Docker, Portainer, Grafana is beneficial.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server.
  • Good working knowledge of network elements related to the web such as web proxies, HTTPS, etc.
  • Understanding of infrastructure/server components.
  • Experience with production environment deployments intraday or COB.
  • Good working knowledge of application integration, testing, and working with APIs.
