Location: Krakow (hybrid work - 3 days per week in the office)
Sabre is looking for a Senior Product Owner for the Data, AI and Insights product org responsible for the product vision, investment, planning, and execution throughout its life cycle. The role includes increasing the profitability of existing products, developing new ones, delivering best solutions, and meeting revenue and customer satisfaction goals. The ideal candidate is proficient in the product’s structure, architecture, and capabilities, captures market needs and customer input, translates data into user stories, and supports the company’s strategy and technical innovation goals. This role blends business and technical skills, vision, and execution drive.
Responsibilities
- Drive product vision & strategy, business requirements documentation and analysis
- Ensure alignment to technology strategy throughout product life cycle
- Manage product profit & loss (P&L)
- Manage product area investment decisions, scope, roadmap, and priorities
- Understand and monitor product's competitive and market landscape
- Conduct and attend visits, customer touch‑bases, focus groups, and conferences
- Support sales engineering and commercial/delivery/care teams
- Act as product subject‑matter expert inside scrum teams
- Write scrum team stories, acceptance criteria
- Create, refine, prioritize scrum team backlog, and accept work
- Attend scrum ceremonies and provide guidance to scrum teams
- Analyze, triage, and troubleshoot maintenance issues
- Conduct demos (internal or external, as needed)
Qualifications and Education
- 6+ years of experience working with airline technology
- 6+ years of experience in market‑facing roles (e.g., engaging with customers and prospects)
- Business and technology orientation with strong product and functional background
- Strong curiosity; ability to delve into unfamiliar areas quickly and become proficient
- Ability to present compelling technology solutions grounded in business needs
- Ownership mindset of individual and team objectives, tactical and strategic thinking
- Independent work and problem‑solving in creative, methodical manner
- Comfortable working in a large, geographically distributed team
- Ability to navigate multi‑stakeholder environments with competing priorities
- Excellent self‑organization and multitasking skills
- Strong business acumen and situational awareness
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; strong public speaking ability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office for presentations and written communication

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields
- Experience with Full‑Service Carriers, Low‑Cost Carriers, or Travel Agencies
- Knowledge of emerging trends in travel retailing and e‑commerce (e.g., AI/ML, dynamic offers)
- Tech‑savvy; ability to engage with engineering colleagues to drive technical solutions
- Experience with software development process involving Java, C++, SQL is a plus
