We're hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead Soda's Issue Resolution team. You will focus on defining and building the part of Soda's product that helps customers augment and automate their data quality issue resolution workflows. You will work alongside a senior designer and a team of senior engineers across data, backend, and frontend development. You'll work directly with co-founders, the CPO, and real users to understand customer needs and shape simple solutions that fully address their requirements. If you're excited about taking on high-impact product features, shaping how customers solve real problems, and shipping products that matter, this role is for you.

Responsibilities
  • Own capabilities and features from problem to shipped solution across our product architecture
  • Own the Resolution roadmap by discovering, validating, and addressing urgent user and market needs
  • Collaborate with the engineers and the VP of Engineering to execute the roadmap
  • Collaborate with customers and prospects to refine and optimize existing features
  • Contribute to improving product processes and strategy beyond your team
Requirements
  • You've delivered solutions used by thousands of technical B2B users
  • You can efficiently manage customer relationships and collaborate with Sales and Customer teams
  • You know how to extract problems from customers and come up with solutions that address entire customer segments at once
  • You work seamlessly with engineers and know how to scope, prioritize, and ship solutions
  • You write and speak crisp English
  • You work independently and bring opinions. You can synthesize input from customers, sales, and founders to come up with solutions that fully address customers' and market needs
Bonus Points
  • Experience with data engineering or data quality tools
  • 5+ years in fast-paced SaaS or devtool startups
  • Shipped developer-focused features (APIs, CLIs, dashboards)
  • Experience delivering GenAI-powered features
  • Experience working in the Shape Up methodology
Benefits
  • A senior role at a fast-growing, VC-backed open-source startup with global traction
  • Fully remote, with in-person 3-day kick-offs every 2 months where you're going to lead sessions
  • Up to €120K salary + equity
  • Full ownership, no micromanagement, and real input into product direction
About Us

Soda's mission is to monitor the world's decisions. We're building the first Data and AI performance monitoring platform that spans data collection to automated decision-making. Soda helps customers detect, resolve, and prevent data quality issues by combining automated post-production monitoring with pre-production pipeline data testing. We enable Data Engineers to effectively own DQ by "shifting left" the data quality initiatives from business to engineering.

Soda was founded in 2019 by Maarten (employee #5 at Collibra, Go-To-Market leadership) and Tom (launched multiple OSS projects generating hundreds of millions in value). Together, they built a tool that ensures data quality across Data Engineering, Data Governance, and business use cases. Our open-source project, Soda Core, is already used by companies like Tesla, Slack, Adyen, Walmart, and JPMC. Soda commercializes its software through the Soda Cloud product. We're well-funded, with investors like Point 9 Capital, Hummingbird, Singular, and Eurazeo.

This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing startup at the cusp of becoming a leader in AI Observability.

Our Values

We value freedom with responsibility, transparency, and a growth mindset. We dislike politics and bullshit and value open and direct communication without judgment. We proactively identify and address potential issues before they become critical, and we communicate frequently to ensure transparency. We solve problems end-to-end, owning the wins and the mistakes. Working at Soda, you will have full autonomy to make impactful product and roadmap decisions and prioritize and organize your work how you see fit.

❤ Why you will love to join Soda
  • Work on the product customers need and love: we're solving an important and urgent problem for users who are passionate about Data Quality
  • Early stage with PMF: We've already found our product market fit, but we are still a flat team with only essential processes. Best of the scale-up and startup worlds
  • High-Impact Team: Join a senior product team that values autonomy, responsibility, and shipping things that matter
  • Ownership from Day One: If you see a need, you address it. If you want to explore a new direction with customers or vibe code a prototype instead of defining requirements, you can
  • Work on your own terms: Fully remote, flexible work, with as many opportunities to meet up as you want!
😡 What you might not love
  • Rapidly Changing Priorities: In a fast-moving expansion phase, our roadmap can pivot quickly. It's a fast-paced environment with a LOT of work to be done
  • Flexibility Required: You will have to learn new things all the time
