Job summary

Altimetrik Poland is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer / Lead Engineer to join our Data Analytics team on a long-term engagement for an insurance client. You will own BI solution design, development and delivery, collaborating closely with a business stakeholder to translate requirements into scalable BI solutions.

Remote-friendly with a Kraków hub option, the role requires deep Power BI and SQL skills, experience with semantic models and governance, and comfort working across time zones.

Qualifications

• Proficient Power BI with DAX and Power Query/M.
• Advanced SQL skills and data modelling experience.
• Experience designing semantic models and implementing RLS.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Power BI semantic models and dashboards.
• Implement business logic and metrics in SQL per client standards.
• Gather reporting requirements from a business stakeholder and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
• Communicate delivery status, risks and decisions proactively.
• Work autonomously on the visualization layer while aligning with data standards.
• Contribute to CI/CD and deployment practices for BI assets (Azure DevOps).
