Job summary

ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S) in Poland seeks an experienced Power BI analytics engineer to govern capacity, model optimization, and secure analytics solutions.

You will implement calculation groups, optimize Direct Query pathways, and collaborate with data engineers to ensure reliable data flows. Fluent English is required, with hands-on experience in Power BI embedded, Microsoft Fabric, and XMLA endpoints.

Qualifications

Fluent spoken and written English.
Technical knowledge of Power BI Premium, DAX, Azure Databricks, and Dimensional Modeling.
Experience in Power BI embedded, Microsoft Fabric, and XMLA Endpoint operations.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, and ALM Toolkit.
Active member of Scrum/Agile teams developing software for innovative business products.

Responsibilities

Govern Power BI capacity, workload, and On-Premises Gateway performance.
Design and maintain Calculation Groups for scalable analytics.
Optimize Power BI performance: model design, Direct Query tuning, large report optimization.
Implement robust security concepts: RLS, OLS, and embedded scenarios.
Coordinate with data engineering teams on schema evolution and data flows.
